Description

1.All incidents and accidents that occur within the workplace must be reported to the relevant enforcing authority and is a legal requirement for the responsible person to ensure prompt action is undertaken.

2.The report informs the regulatory bodies about deaths, injuries, occupational diseases and dangerous occurrences to enable them to identify where and how risks arise, and whether they need to be investigated.

3.By doing so it allows enforcing authorities to target employers/organisations of their current practices and provide advice on how to avoid work - related deaths, injuries, ill- health and accidental loss.
